The 7D is more sophisticated than the T1i, and has a small learning curve to get used to. I am close to setting the customized settings as they work for my style of capturing images, and feel in the next few months I will have the handle to this camera. I have a couple of L-lenses and the images can be stunning. The camera is very fast and I can say I am one happy Canon consumer. I was shooting with the T1i.
