In case you missed the announcement few weeks ago, Canon introduced a new model to the G series called G11.
G11 lowers the Mbit count from 14Mbit of the G10 to a 10Mbit sensor but with an improved handling of high ISO.
In addition, G11 is release with a new 2.8″ vari-angle LCD (instead of the static 3.0″ in G10).

I was shooting with the T1i. I made the change to the 7D, and I am getting use to the change.
The 7D is more sophisticated than the T1i, and has a small learning curve to get used to. I am close to setting the customized settings as they work for my style of capturing images, and feel in the next few months I will have the handle to this camera. I have a couple of L-lenses and the images can be stunning. The camera is very fast and I can say I am one happy Canon consumer.
